I purchased a Milwaukee Performance riding shirt from BFR Helmets last year and it is a great product. I liked it so much I asked my parents for another one for Christmas and sent my mom the product link from the BFR website. The product that I got was not the Milwaukee Performance brand, but rather the BFR house brand copy of the Milwaukee Performance shirt. I'm not sure what happened, but somewhere along the line my mother must have taken the link I sent her and confused it with a similar shirt on the BFR website, and ordered the BFR brand shirt by mistake.
I decided to keep it because I had returned something to them before for a size exchange and it wasn't a very smooth process, so figured I'
d keep it...how bad can it be right? After 3/4 of one riding season I can tell you that it has some issues. Firstly I noticed some tears in the mesh that holds the armor in place. This mesh is extremely thin. The outer material is VERY thin, so I'm not sure how much good it would do in a slide. The material's colour is also fading very rapidly, from the sun, and this started halfway through the season. So instead of black and grey plaid, my jacket is now black and a pinkish salmon colour.
So if you're looking for a riding shirt from BFR, make sure you get the Milwaukee Performance brand and not their own BFR house brand knock-off.
